RAY WONG is an award winning filmmaker and commercial director who has worked with talent such as Katy Perry, Shailene Woodley and Carly Rae Jepsen; and on campaigns for Honda, Swatch, Samsung, Bud Light, Subway Restaurants, Blackberry, Doritos and MasterCard. Ray Wong was recently accepted into the Sony Pictures Television Diverse Directors Program (2016/17); he was a semi-finalist for the HBO Access Directing Fellowship (’16); and nominated for Atlanta Film Festival’s “Filmmaker to Watch” Award in 2015. His music video for Anjulie’s hit song “You and I” was also nominated for Best Dance Video at the MMVAs ‘13, and his short film “Burnt Grass” had its World Premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival ’14 and US Premiere at Cinequest ’15. Burnt Grass has been garnering international attention and commercial success – airing on Canal +, The Movie Network, Air Canada flights, etc.; and featured on Vimeo Staff Pick, Short of the Week, Cinephilia & Beyond and Gizmodo.
